un poco invadida estos días con adornos hechos en casa para un cumpleaños que todavía no sacamos

a bit invaded these days with some crafts we made for a birthday party and haven't removed yet

es el lugar donde puedo descansar un rato mirando el verde del jardín

it's the place where I can sit and watch the garden

y disfrutar algo rico mientras miro estos fantásticos libros que me acaban de regalar

and eat something yummy while I read  wonderful books like these ones that were just given to me as a present 

Y ahora que llegan los días lindos también se puede aprovechar a la noche

And now that nice days have arrived I can enjoy it at night too

Sí, siempre algo para comer...

Yes, always something to eat...

I am not the only one that feels confortable here

Hoy compartimos.... mi próximo objetivo.... Today we share... my next goal

"Hoy compartimos" es un grupo de bloggers que se junta todos los meses para postear un tema en común y desarrollarlo desde su propia perspectiva y el de noviembre es "Mi próximo objetivo"

Como seguramente les pasa a ustedes tengo que dividir mi tiempo entre distintos roles o tareas.
Hay una conocida expresión que habla de usar diferentes sombreros. En mi caso podrían ser anteojos...

De lunes a viernes, trabajo a tiempo completo en mi profesión

I have to divide my time between different roles or activities as certainly happens to you too.
There is a very well known expresion speaking about wearing different hats. In my case could be glasses...

During the week, my full time job related with my profession  

Al llegar a casa, por supuesto ocuparse de otras tareas

When I arrive home, of course, some duties

parece que los platos que me encanta comprar y contemplar a varios se les ha ocurrido verlos llenos...

I love looking for nice plates and watching at them, but they prefer them  with food... 

Comida....comida...., cierto que también hay que hacerse un rato para hacer algo de ejercicio

Food...food...., oh, I must make a time to exercise

Y desde que entré en este mundo blog también tengo que encontrar ratos para preparar los posts

And, since I've been in this blog world, I must make time for posting

Y también para seguir visitando tantos blogs fantásticos

And also for visiting so many fantastic blogs 

Claro, tantas visitas también me dan ganas de intentar algún trabajito

But yes, visiting so many great ideas makes me want to do some craft 

Y también cada tanto no viene mal algún paseo, no?

And from time to time going out is not a bad idea

Por eso, cuando leí la palabra "objetivo" primero pensé que en este momento no tenía ninguno demasiado ambicioso.

O tal vez sí, porque pensé en tener más tiempo, tal vez un reloj de 13 horas?

So, when I read the word "goal" I first thought I didn't have a very ambicious one.

Or may be yes, because I wanted a thirteen hours clock

Para poder poder repartirme y seguir haciendo equilibrio con todos los platillos (sí, definitivamente mi imagen de platitos tenía que incluir una taza...)

So I can divide myself and keep the plates in spinning (yes, my image of spinning plates must definitely have a cup too...)

El desafío de Noviembre de Blad es Ideas para Navidad

November Blad Challenge is Christmas ideas

Así que busqué unas partituras viejas con las que estuve haciendo algo que les voy a mostrar en unos días... algunas servilletas...

I got some old sheet of music that I used in a project that I will share with you in a few days...some paper napkins...

hice varios "abanicos" como aquellos de los famosos pompones de Martha Stewart, pero esta vez, después de plegarlos juntos, los pegué uno a continuación del otro

I made some accordion folds like for the Martha Stewart's pom poms but after folding them together I separated them and glue one after the other 

Para los más grandes usé más hojas y pasé un hilo por uno de los extremos, los más chicos los dividí con un alambre fino por el medio

I used a thread in one end for the largest and a wire in the middle for the small ones

Los até con tanza y les pegué alguno de los motivos que había hecho en decoupage

I tied them with nylon monofilament for hanging and added the decoupage images

Como todavía quedaban hojas de un libro viejo y del diccionario con el que vestí mi pared para otro desafío hice algunos más

I made some more with some pages from an old book and the dictionary I used for my "dictionary wall" for another challenge

Todavía falta bastante para Navidad y no pensaba empezar con tanto tiempo pero esto de recortar y pegar es difícil de frenar...

I had not thought to start making Christmas crafts so early but it's difficult to stop cutting and gluing now...

Mi vieja máquina de coser..... My vintage sewing machine

Me encanta tener la máquina de coser de mi mamá. Que era de su mamá, que le hacía fantásticos modelos así como ella también me hacía a mí cuando yo era chica

I love having my mom's sewing machine. It was her mom's, who made ​​fantastic models for her, like she then made for me when I was a child

Yo en cambio, no la usé mucho. Sí tuve un intento hace muchos años, me anoté en un curso y llegué a hacerme algún pantalón, una pollera.... pero ahí quedó

I however, haven't used it much. I did have an attempt many years ago, I took some sewing lessons and made my own pair of pants and a skirt.... but that was it

Ahora realmente no tengo tiempo pero en algún momento tal vez me vuelva a dedicar

Me encantan también los fantásticos bocetos del libro de moldes

y cuando encontré estas viejas latas donde se guardaban los accesorios de las máquinas tuve que llevarlas a casa

and when I found these vintage sewing machine accesories tin I had to take them home

y las aceiteras también

and the little oil cans too

no son lindas para una pequeña colección?

are'nt they nice for a collection?
