Mi sillita de bebé y “El Circo” …… My vintage baby high chair and “The Circus”

Recently I found my baby high chair in mom’s house. How nice!
Till now I’ve decided to leave it just like that and only cleaned it. I could sand and paint it but I feel it would loose that genuineness of being now what it had been in the past, do you understand me?
Yes, as you have noticed I’m not a twenty something… nor thirty….well, is it necessary to continue?
Well, let’s back to the chair, that has its high way

and also converts from high chair to toddler table and chair

where I´ll display one of my children vintage sets, the one with circus pattern.

Tiene la taza común

It has a cup

Un jarrito

a mug

And an unusual piece for these sets, a cereal bowl, without handles

Todos los platos

All the plates

I’ve two cups, both of them had a circus image on one side –clown and horses tamer- but on the other side one of them change de topic….Little Bo Peep! (if you want to see Little Bo Peep’s children cups and plates post, here)

El sello dice Hughes Longport, England

The backstamp says Hughes Longport, England

Before leaving I’ll clear the table so as you can see the nice pattern. Notice it’s still bright, after…so many years…

Hasta la próxima! Besos!

See you soon! Kisses!
