Porque después de una semana de horarios, obligaciones y oficina, nada mejor que desengancharme disfrutando de estos paseos por distintas ferias de antigüedades con la ilusión de encontrarme con algún nuevo juego de mi querida vajilla infantil
Because after a busy week, schedules, responsabilities and office, nothing better than a visit to a flea market in the hope of meeting a new set of children ware
o una simple taza o plato suelto que seguramente pronto encontrará compañía en algún cuento o en alguna otra pieza tiempo después
or just a simple teacup or plate which surely will soon find company in some storybook or other piece
El fin de semana pasado fui a la feria que está en una de las estaciones del Tren de la Costa
Last weekend I went to a flea market that is located in a train station
Es donde hace unos años compré sin saber por qué este jarrito
It's the place where some time ago I bought this mug, without knowing
que empezó este "viaje sin retorno"...Porque ese día buscaba sólo alguna huevera para sumar a mi colección
that this "journey without return" had begun...Because that day I was only looking for some egg-cups for my collection
pero ahora cuando recorro estos locales no sólo miro vajilla infantil y hueveras
but now when I visit these stands I not only look for children's dishes or egg-cups
porque como ya les conté, la vajilla infantil me fue llevando a los cuentos de chicos y por supuesto no me puedo resistir a los que recuerdo de mi infancia
because, as I have told you, kid's china led me to story books and I cannot resist the memories of my childhood
Alguien por ahí se acuerda de esta contratapa de esta famosa colección de hace muuuuuuchos años?

Y de a poco todo me fue entusiasmando, y entre los platitos y los libros se fueron colando algunas latas
And then, among plates and books I also became enthusiastic with old tins
y a pesar de que intento limitarme en mis "vicios", con tanto paseo y tanto revolver
although I try to limit myself in my "vices" with so many visits
no pude evitar que se fueran juntando algunos cubiertos de chicos
I couldn't avoid gathering some children's cutlery
Algunas revistas y viejos juguetes...
Some old kid's magazines and toys...
Sólo la lluvia puede complicar estos paseos, el calor no me detiene para nada, sólo me puede obligar a una parada enfrente
Only rain can stop me, these so hot days aren't a problem, just a stop
para tomar unos tragos disfrutando las compras o terminando de decidir alguna
to drink some Coke thinking or deciding about the shopping
