In my last post I shared a cabinet I bought at an auction and "dressed" inside with illustrations of Beatrix Potter. There were some old books and a lunch box on top of it
Es una vieja lata que traía galletitas, de la fábrica uruguaya El Trigal y que podía ser usada después como lunchera.
Me conquistó por sus imágenes de esos niños jugando con globos que merecen ser vistos más de cerca
It is an old tin that brought cookies, from an Uruguayan factory, El Trigal, that could be used later as a lunchbox.
I love the images of these children playing with balloons that deserve to be watched more closely
Creo que son tan lindos que no importa que se note que la lata está un poco arruinada por el paso de los años
I think they are so cute that it doesn't matter that it is a bit ruined by the passing years
Claro, aquellos niños que las usaron en su momento las deben haber tirado más de una vez para jugar un rato a la pelota
Those children who used it may have thrown it to play with a ball
y seguro también tuvieron un rato más tranquilo para una charla en confianza
and also had a quieter time for a chat in confidence
