¿Una vida pasada en una panadería?..... A previous life in a bakery?

Hace ya unos meses les conté que, sin planearlo especialmente, mi "nueva-vieja" cocina se fue llenando de muebles verdes. En ese momento éste estaba recién llegado, todavía vacío

Some months ago I told you that, without planning it especially my "new-old" kitchen became full of  vintage green furniture. At that moment this one had just arrived and was still empty

Por supuesto, ya está lleno de varios cuentos y platos

It's full of plates and storybooks now

Es bastante particular porque sus estantes no son horizontales sino inclinados. ¿En qué negocio habrá sido su otra vida? ¿Una panadería?  Esos estantes ¿habrán estado luciendo ricas facturas?

It is quite unique because its shelves are not horizontal but inclined. Where was it in its previous life? In a bakery? Showing yummy treats?

Algunos estantes resultaron algo así como "temáticos".
El de los cerditos

Each shelf  with a different topic. 
One with piglets

El de las gallinas

Another with hens

Los corderitos

Some lambs

No, no todos son animales, también hay unos cuantos niños y niñas

Not all of them are animals, there are many boys and girls too

(Little Women)

Y siguen los animales. Conejos y liebres

Again with animals. Rabbits and hares

Y los que sólo son simpáticos en ilustraciones infantiles.... ratones!

And those who can be lovely only in children's illustrations...mice!

En el primer estante de abajo sí se pueden apoyar algunas cosas más

Only the first shelf has an horizontal part that supports some things on it

Sí, como habrán visto lleva bastante historia encima, por no decir que está un poco arruinado pero así me gusta y así quedará por ahora. Sólo tuve que ponerle tiradores porque le faltaban, unos color rosa que tenía con un toque de decoupage (sí, un vicio...)

Yes, as you have seen it has enough history behind and it is a bit ruined, but I like it and will leave it just like that for now.  I only put these knobs because the originals were missing, some pink ones I already had, with a touch of decoupage (yes, an addiction ...)
