It just
happened. Without defining it before. Without a prior plan.
Our new-old kitchen have been filled with old green furniture.
One of the ideas set out in the reform was not to put cabinets but old pieces of furniture. And so came the counter who had been many years in a grocery

And we also took a cabinet that was in
the same shop with us, and soon began filling it with some of my children's
cups and dishes
First, we thought of the idea of strip
paint or paint them white, but quickly decided to
leave them as they were, with the original aged paint
A few months later we found the apothecary cabinet. It was a good option for me to continue placing my treasures, and....it was green too! If you want more details go here
También la dejamos como estaba
We also left it just as it was
It's not the exact color of the others, that are a bit gray-green, but it doesn't concern us
It's always a good idea to get more pieces of furniture when you continue collecting things.
And it seems these "greens" were in fashion many years ago.
We already have grocery, apothecary...and I think this one was in a bakery
I imagine it full of tasty croissants on these inclined shelves
Sospechan algo?
No creo que adivinen...
It has just arrived home and I will soon begin filling it, I will show it to you when it is ready.
But I have told you that my kitchen has a lot of green and I can not leave without sharing one more thing. It's the same color. Can you guess what it is?
I don't think so...
I was needing a solution to leave my little puppy alone
Is there anything better than MY old baby fence? Yes, the one I used when I was a baby, with some modification as it was escaping through the bars. It is also green, does it mean I am vintage too?
Yes, Coca has a shabby fence!
Espero que les haya gustado.
Hasta la próxima!
Hope you enjoyed it.
See you soon!

Hi again,
ResponderEliminarforgot to answer your question on what a hoarder is. Well, it's someone who can throw nothing away till it gets to the place where their whole homes are full, so full they can't even walk on the floor, there is stuff everywhere, on every surface and they just have little paths to get from one room to another, sometimes not even that, they have to walk on the stuff! We even have a TV show called hoarders where they go in and try to have interventions to help them clear things out. Believe me, it's not a pretty picture!! Hope that explains it!
Of course, that's not us, we're collectors and we know when to stop, right! (?)
Rebecca
I love all of your repurposed pieces in your kitchen and also that they are all different shades of wonderful old greens! And your newest addition is perfect for your cute little dog!

ResponderEliminarBest wishes from Australia,
Tani:)
Me encanta tu nueva vieja cocina! Besos, Sole.
ResponderEliminarThank you all for your sweet and kind comments! You make me feel very happy!!!
